How the NFA Purchase Process Works
Choose the suppressor or other NFA-regulated item you wish to purchase. Our staff can help answer questions and assist you in selecting the right product for your firearm and intended use.
Before submitting your NFA application, you will need to create an account with the ATF eForms system. This account is required for submitting and processing your NFA application.

During account creation, you will establish a username and a personal identification number (PIN). This PIN is important because it will be used later to certify and digitally sign your NFA application.
Please record your username and PIN and bring this information with you when completing your application.
USA Liberty Arms utilizes a Silencer Shop kiosk to complete the fingerprinting and data collection required for the NFA application process.
At the kiosk, you will:
- Submit your fingerprints and passport photo digitally
- Provide basic personal information required for the ATF application
- Complete necessary electronic forms for the NFA submission
The kiosk allows this information to be captured electronically, helping streamline the application process.

A passport-style photograph will also be required for the NFA application. Our staff will ensure that all required documentation and information are properly prepared before submission.
Once all information has been collected, your ATF Form 4 application will be prepared for submission through the ATF eForms system.
At the time of submission, you will use your ATF eForms username and PIN to certify the application, which serves as your digital signature confirming the information provided is accurate.
After the application is submitted, the ATF will review the Form 4 application. Processing times can vary depending on current ATF workload and other factors.
Once the application has been approved by the ATF, USA Liberty Arms will contact you to schedule pickup of your NFA item. At that time, you will complete the final transfer paperwork and take possession of your item in accordance with applicable laws.
